The story of today's Hotel Altenburg traces back to the 16th century. At that time, possession of the monastery at Zams, the building was transformed to a public house in 1627. On this occasion, it conferred the licence of public for the first time to Mutters. Family Wishaber-Stickler bought the house in 1928. During the following years affectionately extended and renovated, our house represents the tradition of Tyrolese hospitality, comfortableness and heartiness married with modern creativity. Innsbruck, easily reachable by car within ten minutes, offers cultural highlights, great flair and attractive shopping opportunities.
